The Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2025 in the USA is now accepting applications. For ten weeks, international students from all countries can participate in a fully-paid Woods Hole Summer Internship. Applications are accepted from all over the world. Woods Hole selects 25-30 students each summer. Although the exact dates of the internship have not yet been determined, participants are expected to arrive between late May and mid-June 2025. Preference is given to students majoring in one of the following fields:

  • Other related disciplines include marine science, physics, biology, chemistry, engineering, geology, geophysics, mathematics, meteorology, and marine policy.
  • Candidates should have a strong interest in marine policy, oceanographic engineering, or marine sciences.

Eligibility

  • All international students are eligible to apply for the Woods Hole Summer Fellowship.
  • Undergraduate students who have completed their junior year by the fellowship start date are eligible to apply.
  • Graduates are not eligible.
  • Students must be in the second year of a three-year bachelor’s degree.
  • Students must be in the third year of a five-year bachelor’s/master’s degree.
